Mehmet Alparslan Çelebi holds an MBA with honors from Bond University (Australia) and a degree in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt. His work focuses on Islamic identity in Europe, Islamophobia, Turkish-German relations, and the social integration of Muslims, through building collaboration networks and launching community-focused initiatives.
He has been active from a young age within the European Turkish Islamic Union (ATIB), where he held several leadership roles between 2004 and 2016, including state youth chairman, general youth vice chairman, and board member, with a focus on youth education and public relations. In 2015, he was elected to the board of the Central Council of Muslims in Germany (ZMD), where he leaded educational programmes for academics as well as young muslim communities. He also held several roles in the political representation of Muslims in Germany.
